WIKI Migration

Effective January 31, 2019, the Cyrious WIKI has been migrated to a new WIKI platform. Although our original WIKI platform has worked well for the last 10 years, the company responsible for creating the WIKI platform and providing the service is shutting down. Due to this, a migration from their WIKI platform to the new provider was required.

As with any software and data migration, there have been changes that impact the look, feel, and formatting of the data when moving from one platform to another. The Cyrious team has worked extensively to ease this transition but there are some differences that you will notice and including some loss of information. We apologize for any inconvenience this causes and really appreciate your patience as we work to address any issues.

Things to Know

  • You will need to register for a user account on the new WIKI platform. Due to differences in password algorithms, we were not able to migrate user accounts from the prior WIKI platform.
  • You will need to re-subscribe to any WIKI pages if you are are interested in receiving notifications when updates are posted.
  • All page names were required to be renamed, as notice that spaces and some special characters were replaced with an underscore.
  • Some tables, embedded images, and videos may be missing due to migration failures. We are working to manually update the WIKI pages to address this on the more frequently visited pages.
  • Integrated Google Search is not currently available, but we are working towards a solution.
  • The WIKI code for creating/editing pages is different than the prior system, although there are some similarities. For more information on the syntax, please see this page. If you would like to add content, please reach out to support@cyrious.com to request elevated permissions.
